I've always been a fan of videos taken from a driver's perspective. Recently I acquired a nice HD camcorder. The only small mount I had was a Pod. A bean bag of sorts, but it kept sliding off the dash.
Then I found the Fat Gecko made by Delkin. For my first test the Fat Gecko was mounted inside the cab, on the windshield. This placement worked quite well with almost no vibration.
The mount is well machined and finished. With the except of the suction cups, the Fat Gecko is made entirely in the USA. Every joint can articulate which gives you excellent aiming possibilities.
Here's a short video driving over the intracoastal bridge.

The suction cups provide an excellent job of, well, sucking. The videos on the Fat Gecko website are what sold me on this mount. I'm still a bit leery of hanging my new video camera on the fender while flying down the highway!
